(Must Know for First Time Users of Wunder)
It has been a month since I made carpooling part of my options for daily commute to work.
And I think it's now starting to become a habit.
Just recently, after so many unread messages, declined requests, I finally got a driver that can share his ride with me to work! (Success!!!)
So now, I am able to carpool to work (except for friday, driver's car coding day).
And also carpool going home for 2 days a week. (Since my schedule varies everyday)
A lot of people are still unfamiliar with carpooling as well as using the Wunder app.
So I want to share a little bit more about using Wunder based on my experience as a Passenger.
1. Is it safe?
Well, I'm still here blogging, safe and unharmed. But I always practice caution whenever I carpool.
I try to get to know the driver first, set pick up locations in public areas and always let
someone know who I am carpooling with.
2. What if I don't have the same schedule everyday?
You can still carpool. All you need to do is find drivers in different schedules.
The app can give the list of possible drivers that you can get in contact with.
3. Do I need to ride with the same driver all the time?
Not necessarily. There are times when driver becomes unavailable. So it is better get to know
other drivers as well.
4. Communicate
The app only shows the work and home locations. To have better chances of getting a ride,
leave messages to possible drivers of your other possible pickup/drop off locations.
5. Be Nice
These drivers don't really need to this, but they choose to share their ride to those heading the same way. And sometimes even going the extra mile (literally), to get you home safely.
It can be difficult to get a ride at the start. Drivers are not usually online or recommended rides are not actually a good match. But don't give up, continue sending messages to possible drivers.
Because when finally you get a good match, it's gonna be awesome!
If you got any questions or need help in using the app, just leave me a message.
It's time to give this Wunder-ful experience a try.
